Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former candidate for the US Senate, as well as a television presenter on MSNBC. She was also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast with Kyle Kulinski. Her guest appearances include on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball credits her passion for politics due to the reality that she became a mom in the 2008 presidential primaries and was also able to be able to watch the US presidential election results while living in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact it had on people in her home country and gained an appreciation for the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 until July 2015, she hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle. She co-hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 2015.
